About Me

I offer face to face sessions from an accessible venue in Norwich and also provide online sessions via Zoom and telephone counselling to adults who live within the UK. Sessions can be for shorter- or longer-term work depending on your needs.

I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which is the governing body for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. As a Member of BACP, I am bound by its Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, and subject to the BACP Professional Conduct Procedure.

Alongside my private practice, I am very proud to provide counselling one day a week at cancer support charity, The Big C in Norwich. I also provide counselling support for other organisations including YANA and through Employee Assisted Programmes (EAP’s). For over 10 years, I have continued to work within a Critical Incident Team of a large local authority, which provides emotional support to adults and children following a critical incident such as the death of a pupil or staff member which can affect individuals and communities in many different ways.

I have previously had roles within a charity, a large business and as a qualified teacher. All of these roles have allowed me to support adults and children with various additional needs. I am passionate about inclusion and enabling a voice for all.

I’m aware how difficult it can be to both feel you need help and even more so to ask for it. I strive to offer the space and time for you to feel heard and to allow your feelings and struggles to be truly acknowledged without judgement. Life can be really tough at times but by working alongside you, I offer support in allowing you to explore the difficulties that you are experiencing in order to move forward.
